1. Who controls your data
ASKEN operates the website at asken.ai and acts as the controller of personal data described in this policy. Privacy and data-protection questions can be sent to business@asken.ai.
2. Personal data we collect
- Contact and enquiry data: your name, email address, phone number, company identifier, and the content of messages or Microsoft credit enquiries you submit.
- Account data: login email, account profile, verification status, security events, and encrypted credentials needed to provide your workspace.
- Service data: workspace status, service configuration, product interactions, support communications, and usage records required to operate and bill the service.
- Payment data: payment status, amount, currency, and transaction references. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe rather than stored by ASKEN.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, and security diagnostics. Optional analytics data is collected only after you accept analytics cookies.
3. Why and how we use personal data
- To respond to enquiries and take steps you request before entering into a service agreement.
- To create accounts, authenticate users, provide workspaces, process billing, and deliver contracted services.
- To prepare and support Microsoft credit applications when you ask us to do so.
- To secure ASKEN, prevent abuse and fraud, diagnose faults, and maintain reliable operations.
- To meet accounting, tax, regulatory, and other legal obligations.
- With your consent, to measure website use and improve our pages and campaigns. You may withdraw this consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
Depending on the activity, our legal basis is performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, compliance with law, our legitimate interests in operating and securing ASKEN, or your consent.
4. When data is shared
We share personal data only where needed to provide, secure, or administer ASKEN. Recipients may include cloud and hosting providers such as Microsoft Azure, payment provider Stripe, email and operational service providers, and professional advisers or authorities where legally required.
For a Microsoft credit application, relevant information may be shared with Microsoft or its program partners only as needed to prepare or submit the application you requested. Google and Meta technologies are loaded on this website only after analytics consent.
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms and appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we retain data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing an account or service, following up on a requested application, resolving disputes, maintaining security records, and meeting legal, tax, or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send passwords, API keys, or other secrets through public contact forms.
